Czech diplomacy has sent a note to the Russian foreign ministry over Thursday's incident outside the Czech consulate in St Petersburg in protest against the removal of Soviet Marshal Ivan Konev's statue in Prague, Czech foreign ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Stichova told CTK on Friday. Czech diplomacy criticised the fact that Russian police had not informed the consulate about their solving the situation with demonstrators against the Konev monument's removal who had lit up a smoke bomb, Stichova added.
