Czech deputy minister disciplined for calling Roma 'jellyfish'

Czech Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Karel Novotny will be stripped of his regular bonus for three months because in a comment he said the Roma are like "jellyfish", being "a nuisance, good for nothing," the ministry said in a press release on Friday. Novotny apologised for the comment and offered his resignation. He posted his comments on the Facebook group of Outraged Mothers which is against migrants, the Roma and sexual minorities.
