Czech court to try eight people for supporting terrorism

Eight people have been brought to a Czech court having approved of terrorist attacks in New Zealand, Norway and on Czech soldiers in Afghanistan, Prague police spokesman Jan Danek said on Wednesday. The suspects face up to 15 years in prison for support and promotion of terrorism. Detectives from the extremism and terrorism squad were investigating the cases for several months.
