The Czech cabinet on Wednesday took a neutral stance on the proposal for the establishment of the National Sports Agency to be headed by former hockey player Milan Hnilicka, current government commissioner for sport at the Education Ministry, Minister Robert Plaga has said. The proposal was submitted by the MPs for the ruling parties, ANO and the Social Democrats (CSSD), headed by Hnilicka, Olympic winner and triple world champion. The new office is to take the agenda of support for sport from the Education, Youth and Sports Ministry.
