Czech ANO would easily win elections now - poll

Prime Minister Andrej Babis's ANO would win the election to the Chamber of Deputies if it was held now with the gain of 30.8 percent, according to a poll conducted by the STEM institute at the onset of the coronavirus outbreak in early March and released on Wednesday. The opposition Pirates would be the runner-ups far behind ANO, followed by the Civic Democratic Party (ODS). The opposition TOP 09 would not get again to the Chamber of Deputies. As against January, the result of ANO worsened by 1.9 percent, while the Pirates and the ODS scored minor gains.
