The Polish government is ready to cooperate with the European Commission in achieving a compromise in the Article 7 procedure launched against the country, but further concessions from Poland may be "hard to find", Jacek Czaputowicz, the foreign minister, told public radio on Tuesday. The statement came after European Commission Vice-President Frans Timmermans said on Monday that he hoped for a compromise with the country, but that it would require "tangible and strong results" from Poland.
