Deputy PM and Culture Minister Piotr Glinski has been appointed chairman of a Public Benefit Committee, a new agency established to streamline cooperation between the government and NGOs. Glinski was appointed to the post by President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday. The committee, to consist of secretary of state-ranking ministry officials, will oversee the government's contacts with NGOs and pass opinions on projects related to civil society.
