COVID receding, vaccination record high in Czech Republic

There were 2,216 new COVID cases in Czechia on Thursday, 413 fewer than a week ago and the smallest workday number since late September, while 72,843 vaccine doses were applied, the record high daily number since the vaccination start, show the Health Ministry data released on its web today. In all, almost one million Czechs have been fully inoculated against COVID-19. The total COVID-19 death toll now stands at 29,267. In April, there have been another 2,408 deaths, on average 83 a day.
