Coronavirus cases rising quickly in Czech Republic

Another 316 Covid-19 cases were registered in the Czech Republic on Wednesday, which was the fifth highest daily rise in cases since the start of the outbreak, the Health Ministry said. There are 4,778 active infections and 112 people are being treated in hospital for Covid-19. Since early March, when the novel coronavirus was confirmed for the first time, 20,798 people have been infected and three-quarters of them have recovered.
