Contagious diseases such as measles, mumps or whooping cough are back in the Czech Republic largely due to the people who refuse vaccination, daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) wrote on Monday. The current situation is due to the falling vaccination rate and the winding down of immunity among the adults who were vaccinated in the past. As a result, collective protection, which prevented the spread of the diseases years ago, is now failing.
