Public confidence in the Czech president fell by 4 percentage points in October to 47 percent, the lowest result since last May's drop to 41 percent, showed the Public Opinion Research Centre (CVVM) poll released today. Public trust in municipal authorities and mayors is also lower, though local politicians remain the most trustworthy in the eyes of the public. The results of other constitutional bodies and the government have risen, while remaining unchanged for the Senate.
