Communist head to meet Zeman, does not rule out early election

The Czech government-forming talks between ANO and the Social Democrats (CSSD) have failed because the Communists (KSCM) were not invited to play the role of mediator, KSCM chairman Vojtech Filip said today, adding that he plans to meet President Milos Zeman to discuss the situation. They would probably meet at the beginning of next week. The KSCM is ready to continue negotiating, but it also admits the possibility of an early general election, Filip said.
