The European Union's cohesion policy is one that serves the entirety of the bloc and Poland "will surely not accept disproportional cuts in this field", Polish deputy foreign minister Konrad Szymanski said on Wednesday. Szymanski stressed that the recently-launched negotiations on the next EU budget "are surely among the most difficult in the EU's history." The European Commission on Wednesday presented a draft of the next long-term European Union budget.
