Chemes Humenne (Presov region) has reconnected energy supplies for Nexis Fibers, which has been operating in its industrial park, the Economy Ministry said on Thursday. It did so after Economy Minister Richard Sulik (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS) on Wednesday threatened to file a criminal complaint against an unknown perpetrator due to the halt in energy supplies. Nexis Fibers was forced to suspend production when its energy was cut off, although on April 14 the firm obtained a binding court injunction ordering Chemes to provide smooth and continuous energy and media supplies on the basis of weekly advance payments.
