Ceremonial concert in Brussels marks centenary of Czechoslovakia

A series of cultural, history-related and social events in Brussels dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia culminated with a ceremonial concert in Flagey Concert Hall on Monday evening (October 5). The event, which included both serious and modern Czech-Slovak music, honoured the significance of the emergence of the join state of Slovaks and Czechs in 1918 but also highlighted the good relations between the two now separate republics.
