Caputova 'against all forms of violence' against protesting Belarusians

President Zuzana Caputova on Friday said she was against any form of violence inflicted on Belarusians who defend the freedoms of democracy, adding that she agrees with the European Union's decision to adopt sanctions against specific people who share the responsibility for ordering violent interventions on the streets of Belarus as well as the manipulation of the recently held presidential election in the country. Caputova said there was a need for Slovakia to defend the principles of the rule of law and reject violence.
