Cabinet approves Kucera as Slovakia's candidate for EGC judge

Michal Kucera has become Slovakia's fourth candidate for the post of additional judge of the European Union's General Court (EGC) based in Luxembourg, with the Cabinet approving his bid at its session on Wednesday. Slovakia should have filled the post of the additional judge as early as in September 2016 but all of the previous three candidates - Ivan Rumana, Radoslav Prochazka and Maria Patakyova - were rejected by the Council of the EU's consultative committee for various reasons.
