Hans-Peter Friedrich, vice-president of the Bundesdag, Germany's lower house, said on Friday, the 38th anniversary of the imposition of the martial law in Poland, that Germany will never forget the Polish fight for freedom. Friedrich made the declaration as he laid flowers with the Polish ambassador to Germany, Andrzej Przylebski, at a plaque devoted to the anti-communist Solidarity movement, at the Reichstag, the German parliament building.
