The budget for Czech universities and colleges for next year will be increased as proposed in the 2018 state budget draft, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (Social Democrats, CSSD) told journalists after the government leadership's negotiations on the budget on Monday. The cabinet will be approving the budget proposal next Monday, along with a decree on the increase of salaries in the public sector.
