British patients overcharged in Kosice hospital

A scandal has broken at the Louis Pasteur University Hospital (UNLP) in Kosice, as some patients mainly from Britain allegedly paid for plastic surgery much more than what is stated in the hospital's official price list, Pravda daily reported on Friday. As many as 1,800 patients underwent plastic operations at Kosice's clinic last year, of which 137 came from the UK. An agency based in a tax heaven offers on its website various types of plastic operations and attracts Englishwomen to come to Kosice to undergo surgery.
