Bodies cannot be imported for cremation to Czech Republic

As of Tuesday, it will be banned to send bodies of the dead from abroad for cremation to the Czech Republic for ten days, the government decided today, following a proposal raised by the Regional Development Ministry. In this way, cremation capacities should be secured for the time of the coronavirus epidemic. Besides, crematoria will not have to go by air pollution limits, the ministry said.
