The bill on public administration courts has been submitted to parliament, Justice Minister Laszlo Trocsanyi told a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday. Public administration courts are planned to operate as a new structure within the judicial system to deal with legal disputes in public administration and would have a key role in appointing judges. Trocsanyi said he will ask the Council of Europe's Venice Commission to review the planned law's compliance with international standards. The move is prompted by heightened local and international interest in the proposal, he said.
