Belarusian protesters should be protected, not injured - Pompeo

People protesting in Belarus against suspected manipulations of the presidential election should be protected, not injured, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told a press conference after talks with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis in Prague today. Babis said Europe must react with concrete steps, not just make statements. Both Pompeo and Babis said Belarusian citizens have the right to freedom and democracy same as other people in the world.
