Prime Minister Andrej Babis on Thursday announced to attend the extraordinary session of the lower house of parliament on Friday, where a no-confidence vote will be held against his government. The vote was prompted by fresh allegations in the Capi hnizdo case, in which Babis is suspected of EU subsidy fraud. The government is expected to survive the vote, as the initiating right wing opposition does not have enough votes to win an absolute majority, which is necessary for a no-confidence procedure.
