The average debt owed by Slovaks has risen from 800 euros to 860 euros since 2017, a KRUK Czech Republic and Slovakia analysis has shown. According to the analysis, 56 percent of debtors are men, who incline towards borrowing larger sums than women, and their average exceeds 950 euros. Slovak women owe 760 euros on average. The analysis also showed that the average debt is even higher than it was in 2016, when it amounted to 845 euros.
