August core inflation rate hits 9.9 pct - central bank

Poland's core inflation, which excludes the prices of food and energy, measured 9.9 percent year on year in August 2022, up from 9.3 percent in July, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) said on Friday. Inflation excluding fixed prices amounted to 16.7 percent year on year in August, up from 15.9 percent in the previous month.
