February 1st, 2019
Trade unions operating at the state-owned railway infrastructure operator ZSR have agreed with the company management on the wording of the collective agreement for 2019-2020, ZSR spokesman Michal Lukac told TASR following their talks on Thursday, adding that the agreement does not contain a definitive wage rise. The new collective agreement, effective from February 1, 2019 until December 31, 2020, guarantees benefits above the framework of the Labour Code and drawing of the social fund for employees, said Lukac. As the agreement does not include a definitive wage rise, the bargaining on the wage rise in 2019 and 2020 will continue. Until then the two parties agreed that the employer will pay a monthly bonus of 45 euros. This bonus will already be a part of the January salary.
