Ziga seeking to stay economy minister

"I want to remain in my post and see no reason to change my position within the government," Economy Minister Peter Ziga said on Wednesday in response to speculations that he could replace Peter Kazimir after he leaves the post of finance minister for the post of Slovak Central Bank (NBS) governor. "I'm an economy minister, I like the ministry and I want to stay there until the end of the electoral term. I have no reason to change my position," said Ziga, adding that he had not even talked about such a possibility with Smer-SD Chair Robert Fico.
