Ziga: Economy ministry should take over waste and CO2 management

The Economy Ministry could take over waste management and CO2 emission management powers, currently under purview of the Environment Ministry, Economy Minister Peter Ziga (Smer-SD) stated as part of his vision for the future in an interview given to TASR. The reason for the change in his mind are the closer ties that the Economy Ministry has with industry, which produces the bulk of both the waste and CO2 emissions.
