Czech President Milos Zeman said today that if his proposal for the withdrawal of the Czech recognition of independent Kosovo failed at a forthcoming meeting of the Czech top elected officials, he would continue persuading the officials to change their mind. Zeman was speaking at the close of a two-day summit of the Visegrad Four presidents also attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who thanked Zeman for his support. The Czech Foreign Ministry previously said there is no need to change the Czech position on Kosovo.
