Czech opposition Communists (KSCM) head Vojtech Filip today informed President Milos Zeman about the KSCM broad leadership's recommendation that the KSCM support the government in the lower house's vote of no confidence on Friday, and Zeman thanked the KSCM for its decision, Filip has told CTK. The no-confidence vote has been provoked by the remaining six opposition parties in reaction to a scandal triggered by Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) son's media statement that his father had him taken to Crimea against his will last year in order to prevent his questioning in the Capi hnizdo case of a suspected EU subsidy fraud in which both Babis Sr and Babis Jr are among the suspects.
