Czech President Milos Zeman lunched with U.S. Ambassador Stephen King at Prague Castle, the presidential seat, today, discussing the Middle East, Venezuela, Afghanistan and also the staging of a Czech-U.S. economic forum at Prague Castle, Zeman's spokesman Jiri Ovcacek has told CTK. "The president and the U.S. ambassador talked about the situation in the Middle East and also Venezuela, with the president calling for a quick staging of free elections there," Ovcacek said. He said the debate also touched on the situation in Afghanistan. U.S. President Donald Trump recently said he plans to withdraw a part of U.S. soldiers from Afghanistan.
