Czech President Milos Zeman on Wednesday sharply rejected an article praising the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia published on the Russian army TV Zvezda's website and said he would personally ask Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to distance himself from its content. Zeman called the article an act by "a brainless journalistic madman" and an offence to the Czech nation. However, he will not end his five-day official visit to Russia earlier over the article. The author of the article writes that Czechoslovakia should be grateful to the Soviet Union for the 1968 invasion since it prevented a Western coup.
