As many as 74.2 percent of Poles would like to stick to summer time if seasonal time changes are abandoned, a survey commissioned by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology shows. The European Parliament recently supported scrapping the time shifts. Even more Poles, 78.3 percent, support the European Parliament's decision, while only 14.2 percent would like to keep adjusting their clocks twice a year, according to the survey, run by the CBOS researcher. In summer time, the afternoon has one more hour of daylight compared with winter time.
