Waste from nine other European countries, with the largest amount coming from Austria, ends up in Slovakia, and it's incinerated mainly at cement factories in Rohoznik (Bratislava region) and Turna nad Bodvou (Kosice region), both owned by a company called CRH, TASR learnt on Thursday from an official registry of waste transported into the country in 2019. Apart from Austria, waste is also imported from Croatia, Hungary, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, Germany and Belgium.
