VW Slovakia, unions reach agreement on bonuses

Volkswagen Slovakia (VW SK) will pay out bonuses to its employees related to economic profits in 2012 averaging 1,350 euros, TASR learnt on Tuesday. In addition, in October the VW SK staff will receive a fixed pre-payment averaging 200 euros for 2013 results. The agreement was made between the leadership of the company and trade union representatives. Originally, the unions demanded a 370-euro hike in the year-end bonuses in addition to payments of 1,300 euros received for results in 2012.
