Vietnamese studies programme opens at Masaryk University

A Vietnamese studies bachelor programme will be available to students at the Masaryk University Faculty of Arts from September, teaching the language, traditions, history and economics of Vietnam and surrounding countries, Masaryk University spokesperson Martina Fojtu said today. "Apart from lectures and language courses, the programme consists of visits to the Vietnamese community and learning about the traditions, practices, public holidays and cuisine," says Vietnamese studies programme director Michal Schwarz.
