The elections to the European Parliament, an upcoming Sibiu summit, Brexit and foreign policy issues were the topics of the meeting in Bratislava on Thursday attended by foreign affairs ministers of the Visegrad Four (V4) countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) and France. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto and his Polish counterpart Jacek Czaputowicz stressed the need to preserve the free market and competitiveness in the European Union. French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is convinced, on the other hand, that protection and competitiveness do not exclude each other.
