US President's visit will bring specifics on military cooperation - MoD

The visit of US President Donald Trump to Poland will provide more specific details about military cooperation between Poland and the US, Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak told the public radio programme Sygnaly Dnia on Wednesday. Trump will visit Warsaw from August 31 through September 2 to take part in observances marking the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War Two. When asked if any new information or declarations regarding military cooperation between Poland and the US can be expected during President Trump's visit, Blaszczak said "We are working on this matter, talks are taking place." He added that Trump's visit has a very concrete character, but it is possible to make the declarations even more definite. "We are working on the details of where, when and how," he said.During President Andrzej Duda's visit to the USA in June, he and President Trump signed a declaration on Polish-American defence cooperation.
