US Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher on Twitter on Wednesday expressed her thanks to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to LOT Polish Airlines for helping US citizens return to the United States during the new coronavirus pandemic. "My profound thanks to @MSZ_RP & LOT Polish Airlines for their help flying U.S. citizens back to the United States during this difficult time. #LOTdoDomu has helped more than 400 Americans to return home safely so far, and they're not done yet! Dziękujemy bardzo! (Thank you very much! - PAP)," wrote Mosbacher. Poland's flag carrier, PLL LOT, has brought more than 34,000 Poles back to their home country under the government-subsidised scheme 'LOT do Domu' (Flight Home) that started on March 15, the airline said in a press release on Wednesday.
