Two people die in helicopter crash in South Bohemia

Two people died in a two-seat Robinson R 22 helicopter crash near Ceske Budejovice on Monday afternoon, local police spokesman Jiri Matzner said. According to an aviation expert, who requested anonymity, it was an experimental type of a Safari helicopter which a man from south Bohemia had imported from the United States to the Czech Republic for private use. However, its owner was allegedly not aboard. The victims were a 72-year-old pilot with his colleague.
