Trump hosts Polish president, says Poland is 'model ally'

US President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter on Wednesday that it was a pleasure to host Polish President Andrzej Duda and the Polish first lady. He also thanked Poland for being an exemplary ally. "It was a pleasure to host my friends President Andrzej Duda and Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda of Poland at the @WhiteHouse today. U.S.-Poland ties are at an all-time high. Thank you for being such an exemplary Ally!" reads the entry which was posted by the American leader. On Wednesday, the Polish presidential couple paid an official visit to Washington, the last item of which was a formal reception given in their honour by the US president and First Lady Melania Trump.
