Total of 247 people die in railway accidents in Czechia in 2019

A total of 247 people died in railway accidents in the Czech Republic in 2019, with most of the fatalities being caused by collisions of trains with people, Rail Inspection spokeswoman Martin Drapal told CTK today. The number of fatalities rose by 8 percent compared with the preceding year.
