The Polish president's spokesman, Błazej Spychalski said that the Constitutional Court's ruling regarding the amended law on Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) "is important for our country as well as for the stability and predictability of the law." The Constitutional Court ruled on Thursday that the provisions of the Institute of National Remembrance law were unconstitutional in the part related to the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists. President Duda challenged the provisions, arguing that the expressions "Ukrainian nationalists" and "Eastern Lesser Poland" were imprecise.
