Tkac to head Slovak railways

Juraj Tkac, who has served as deputy general director of state-run rail infrastructure operator ZSR, will become its new general director, replacing Martin Erdossy, who announced his resignation on Monday, TASR learnt from the transport ministry. Ministry spokesperson Karolina Ducka expressed the transport minister's expectations that Tkac should take an active approach to addressing issues, develop Slovakia's rail network and stabilise the company financially.
