Throwing away politicians' flowers qualified as misdemeanour

The activists who threw away the flowers that PM Andrej Babis and other politicians laid at the memorial to the November 17, 1989 events in Prague centre on Saturday committed a misdemeanour, police told CTK today. Their act violated property and civic cohabitation, however, the damage incurred did not exceed 5,000 crowns, spokesman Tomas Hulan added. The police suspect a man and a woman of the misdemeanour and will pass the case to the Prague 1 municipal police, Hulan said.
