Results of a Santander Consumer Bank-commissioned survey show that a third of Poles plan not to spend money on taking holidays this year. The survey also showed that residents of large cities will spend the most on taking a vacation. In connection with the start of the holiday season, the survey's authors assessed that one in four of those polled will spend no more than 1,000 zlotys per person on holidays. "At the same time, 30 percent of Poles predict that they will not spend anything on taking a break," the communique published on Wednesday said. According to the study, the most frequently declared amount set aside for holidays fits into the bracket of 501 zlotys to 1,000 zlotys per person (EUR 118-235).
