PM Mateusz Morawiecki's Monday talks with EC Vice-President Frans Timmermans in Warsaw were "more constructive than some other talks over the last few days and weeks," Deputy Foreign Minister Konrad Szymański told PAP on Monday. Earlier on Monday Morawiecki and Timmermans discussed the EC's objections to Poland's recent judicial reforms and the Commission's resulting rule of law procedure against Poland under the EU Treaty's sanctioning Article 7. Szymański said Morawiecki outlined the Polish position on the reforms, which Timmermans promised to look into. "Vice-President Timmermans promised to analyse our argumentation in detail."
