Students from the Universities for Climate group who have occupied the entrance hall of Prague's Karolinum, Charles University (UK) rector's seat, for a few days in protest against UK's approach to climate, agreed with the Academic Senate to immediately end the occupation strike today. After their three-hour talks, some 20 strike participants also withdrew their demand that the Academic Senate initiate the dismissal of UK Rector Tomas Zima, but they still insist on his departure. The Senate adopted a resolution that the university would be more active in tackling the climate change.
