The new European Commission (EC) head should be a charismatic and distinctive figure able to compromise and unite the EU member states, Czech PM Andrej Babis told reporters in the night after the informal dinner of the EU heads of state and government in Brussels. He added that the EC head should treat all the member states equally. The Visegrad group countries have a clear idea of how the candidate should look like. "It does not necessarily have to be somebody from the V4. It should be a first-rate candidate, it should be an expert and of course have experience. He or she should change the relations between the European Council and the European Commission fundamentally," Babis said.
